Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Kissimmee, FL

Base Pay: $27.42 $36.95 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. The RRT will perform all respiratory care-related duties, providing high-quality therapeutic and diagnostic services to patients of all ages. This role involves administering routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures, operating acute care ventilators, and supporting both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.

The ideal candidate is self-directed, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Available Shifts

  • Days (Rotating Weekends)

  • Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor respiratory therapy equipment and treatments for patients of all ages.

  • Administer routine and specialized respiratory therapy procedures as prescribed by physicians.

  • Manage acute care ventilators for patients requiring short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.

  • Assess patient responses and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with hospital and department standards.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Function independently and make sound clinical decisions in the absence of a team leader.

Qualifications

  • Education: Completion of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program (Associates Degree required).

  • Licensure: Active Florida RRT license required.

  • Certification:

    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of RRT experience preferred.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Base Pay: $27.42 $36.95 per hour

  • Night Shift Differential: +$4.50/hr

  • Weekend Differential: None

  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

  • Relocation: Available on a case-by-case basis
